A new era officially begins for WWE and it starts with its SummerSlam pay-per-view/premium live event. An annual tradition, the event this year takes place July 30 from inside Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.
The main event will see Brock Lesnar challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. Dubbed “the last match ever” between the two, Reigns and Lesnar will compete in a last-man-standing match. With Vince McMahon’s retirement, how will WWE book this match? Who will walk out of Nashville as champion?
Also on the card will be The Usos, Reigns’ cousins. They will defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles against The Street Profits. Jeff Jarrett will be the guest referee.

In other title action, Liv Morgan defends the WWE SmackDown Women’s Title against former champion Ronda Rousey, while Bobby Lashley defends the WWE United States Title against Theory. Becky Lynch looks to dethrone Bianca Belair once again as the two fight for the WWE RAW Women’s Title. This is a rematch from last year’s SummerSlam.
In non-title action, former football stars collide when Pat McAfee faces Happy Corbin. The Miz faces YouTuber Logan Paul, while Rey and Dominik Mysterio take on Damian Priest and Finn Balor.
The Sporting News will provide analysis and match grades throughout the event.
