The Los Angeles Rams have rebounded their chances this season by going 3-1 since their early bye week. They started slowly as injuries decimated their offensive line, and they were forced to play inexperienced rookies.
It’s still early but continuing to build along the offensive line will continue to be a priority for the Rams. Similar to the way they’ve built their defensive front, the team should look to the NFL draft to shore up the foundation on offense.
Currently, the Rams own the sixteenth overall pick in next year’s draft and it’s reasonable to assume that the offensive line position will be a major priority. L.A. has a bevy of skill players to pair with star quarterback Matthew Stafford for at least one more year.
Protecting Stafford will be paramount to the team’s success moving forward, and our own Vinnie Iyer projected a top pass protector in his latest 2025 mock draft earlier today for the Rams. Iyer predicted Los Angeles to take Kelvin Banks, an offensive tackle from Texas with the selection.

Iyer noted: “The Rams will be in the market for some left tackle help next year, and Sean McVay should like what he sees in Banks’ combination of strength and agility.”
Banks is considered one of the top offensive linemen in the draft and could play at guard or tackle if needed. He has secured the blindside of Quinn Ewers and helped power Texas’ explosive offense the past two seasons.
