The Dolphins haven’t been having the 2024 season they might’ve hoped for.
With a 2-6 record through eight games this season, Miami has struggled as its looked to improve on an 11-6 record and playoff appearance in 2023. Injuries have played a significant role in the lack of success, especially with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missing most of the team’s season thus far.
Despite Tagovailoa being back in action, yet again, the Dolphins’ offense could have an injury concern in Week 10. Star wide receiver Tyreek Hill’s status has been in question for the team’s “Monday Night Football” matchup this week.
Will Hill play against the Rams in Week 10? Here’s what to know about the wide receiver’s injury status for Monday, plus a look at Miami’s receiving depth chart and Hill’s fantasy outlook.

Is Tyreek Hill playing this week?
Hill’s official status for “Monday Night Football” hasn’t yet been clarified, but he had an interesting development injury-wise.
Despite being a full participant in Thursday’s practice for the Dolphins, Hill was added to the team’s injury report due to a wrist injury, and he didn’t practice at all on Friday.
It’s been an uncharacteristic season for Hill, who has just 446 receiving yards through eight games after totaling 1,799 last year. Hill has just one 100-yard receiving game this season, which came in Week 1.
Tagovailoa’s injury has surely played a role in the star’s lack of production, but Hill continues to search for a big game. If he can’t play in Week 10 against the Rams, Miami would have to turn toward its other options at wide receiver.

Dolphins WR depth chart
Rank | Player |
1 | Tyreek Hill |
2 | Jaylen Waddle |
3 | Odell Beckham Jr. |
4 | Dee Eskridge |
5 | Malik Washington |
Despite his unusually slow first half of the 2024 season, Hill remains one of the game’s most talented wide receivers. When he’s healthy and playing, he’s undoubtedly Tagovailoa’s top target, as he still leads Miami in targets (56), receptions (34) and receiving yards (446) this season.
However, if the wrist injury keeps Hill sidelined on Monday, Waddle would step into the No. 1 role. The fourth-year receiver has opened his career with three consecutive 1,000-yard season, but has just 310 receiving yards so far in 2024.
Beckham Jr., now 32 years old, isn’t quite the same multi-talented option he once was. He didn’t make his season debut for Miami until October 6 due to injuries, and through four games so far, he has just three receptions. However, if Hill can’t play this week, Beckham Jr. could see an uptick in targets.
Neither Eskridge nor Washington have seen many touches this season, combining for six targets. However, the two receivers are the only other healthy options Miami has at the position right now, so without Hill, the Dolphins could use the depth Eskridge and Washington bring.
The Dolphins also have a wide collection of receiving talent on IR, including River Cracraft, Braxton Berrios, Tahj Washington, Grant DuBose and Anthony Schwartz.

Tyreek Hill fantasy outlook
If Hill can’t play this week due to his wrist injury, he should obviously be taken out of fantasy lineups. However, if he does play, Hill’s talent alone is enough to keep starting him.
At this point in the season, fantasy expectations for Hill should be managed. He hasn’t produced the same game-breaking numbers that he did in 2023, and until he gets back to scoring touchdowns and making huge plays, Hill likely projects as a fantasy WR2 against Los Angeles and through the rest of the 2024 season.
If Hill isn’t healthy enough to play in Week 10, Waddle would become a strong fantasy play as Tagovailoa’s top target on “Monday Night Football.”
